Just Natural Organic Black Rice 500g

Organic Black Rice, sometimes called forbidden rice, is a striking wholegrain rice that turns a deep purple-black once cooked, with a slightly nutty, faintly sweet flavour and a satisfying chewy texture. It makes an eye-catching base for grain bowls and salads, pairs well with citrus and roasted vegetables, and can also be used in place of other wholegrain rice in stir-fries and pilafs. Because it's a wholegrain with the bran intact, it takes a little longer to cook than white rice — usually around 30-35 minutes after a good rinse. Certified organic, vegan and gluten-free, with no added sugar, it's a naturally colourful way to add fibre and variety to a plant-based plate. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, where it will keep for many months.
